MyNana’s Clubhouse is a progressive early learning center aiming to enrich the lives and minds of our students and their families. Research shows that children have the greatest capacity for learning from birth through the age of five. Considering children are born ready to learn, our curriculum focuses on the individual interests of the children in each classroom. Common core classes, fine/gross motor and art skills are taught and reinforced daily; however, our underlying goal is to foster children’s natural curiosity and a love for learning.

We offer a diverse environment…

where all children, regardless of background, race or religion, can learn together and from each other. We value our children’s well-being holistically and as caregivers, we strive to create a learning environment that is safe, stimulating, encouraging, productive and proficient.

The educational philosophy at MyNana’s Clubhouse is play and child-centered. There is very little direct instruction and teachers are encouraged to play with the children and utilize every teachable moment.

We follow the learning objectives set forth by the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) which is a set of high-quality, research-based early learning standards that support the growth of the whole child, birth to age five.

The GELDS standards address the following five domains of learning:

  1. Physical development and motor skills

  2. Social and emotional development

  3. Approached to play and learning

  4. Communication, language, and literacy

  5. Cognitive development and general knowledge
