How much is tuition? +
We currently do not share our tuition rates via our website. We are more than happy to email our rates to you.
Do you offer a Parents’ Day Out Program, drop-in care, or part-time care? +
Currently, we do not. After we expand, we plan to offer a variety of attendance options to meet the needs of stay at home parents, as well as, working families.
What are your hours of operation? +
Our standard hours are 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday.
What holidays are you closed for? +
MyNana’s Clubhouse is closed on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, two days for Thanksgiving, and one week for Christmas. These days will vary each year depending on which day the holiday falls on.
Do I need an appointment to tour your child care center? +
At this time, we are not allowing tours.
How do I enroll my child(ren)? +
We are currently at maximum capacity.
Are meals included? +
Yes
What type of security measures do you have in place? +
Our centers have fully functional fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and smoke detectors. Our property is continuously monitored by cameras.
May I stop by unannounced to see my child throughout the day? +
Parents are more than welcome to come by unannounced, but please try to avoid nap time if possible!
How do you approach potty training? +
We encourage potty training by incorporating it into our curriculum. We suggest that children try it when they express curiosity in friends who have already learned. We accept accidents as part of the learning process and gladly help children change into clean clothes. Children will be taken to the potty several times per day. They will be taught the proper way to pull pants up and down, wipe, flush and wash hands.

We comply with state requirements for staff:child ratios.
Infants - 1:6
1-2 years (walking) – 1:8
3-4 years – 1:15
What is your discipline policy? +
We encourage positive guidance. Positive guidance teaches children where limits are set, how to maintain control of their bodies, and how to problem solve in the event of the conflict. When an issue arises, teachers provide positive guidance and help them to realize how to make safe, healthy choices.
What is your policy regarding illnesses? +
In addition to the physician’s examination and immunization records required for enrollment, we will observe each child’s health. If we observe your child developing symptoms of illness during the day, we will isolate him or her from the other children and call you to pick up your child. For the health and well-being of your child and others, a child must be kept home if he/she develops any of the following symptoms of contagious disease until symptom free for 24 hours or the child’s physician indicates a child can return to the center:
Diarrhea
Tears, redness of eyelids with discharge
Mouth sores with or without drooling
A fever of 101°F or above
Unusual spots or rashes
Sore throat or trouble swallowing
Infected skin patches
Vomiting
A parasite
What forms of payments do you accept? +
We encourage families to enroll in our automatic bank draft program via Brightwheel. We also accept cash, checks, and major credit cards (2.9% fee).
How do you deal with food allergies? +
During our initial parent interview, we create a written action plan for children that have allergies. In this plan we outline how our teachers will handle daily avoidance of allergen exposure in the classroom environment. Our teachers are trained to avoid food sharing, they closely observe children during mealtimes, and they make sure that art activities do not include allergic foods or ingredients.
How often do you clean toys? +
Every time a toy is placed in a child’s mouth, it is set aside in our mouthed toy bucket until it can be cleaned and disinfected. Toys are also sanitized each evening.
How do you communicate with parents? +
Communication is one of our highest priorities. We believe that the quality if children’s development is dependent on the communication between parents and their teachers. When you enroll your child in MyNana’s Clubhouse, you will be introduced to our Brightwheel program. which allows you to receive photos and daily reports via the Brightwheel app or your email. We also communicate via phone calls, family conferences twice per year, our Facebook and Instagram pages, and our blog. We send out emails regarding special events, and you will also receive a weekly curriculum newsletter from your child’s teacher and a monthly newsletter from the center.
Do children play outside every day? +
Absolutely, if weather permits!
Are you closed for inclement weather? +
MyNana’s Clubhouse follows the Wayne County School System regarding closing during inclement weather. If Wayne County Schools are closed, our school will be closed. If Wayne County Schools open late or close early, our school schedule will do the same.
